Barcode Questions

1. Is it true when using standalone JDE BI Publisher that you can only display the barcode when previewing in RTF?  I have seen this in some places but then I also saw something about PDF working if the font is installed but that might be the BI enterprise version.  I would prefer to use PDF if this is possible.

2. When I preview my template with a barcode in RTF the section break and the totals below the section break are not displaying.  Are there limitations with RTF previewed templates and section breaks?

3. I was intitially told you need a java class to get barcodes to work but I got it to work without a Java class for a standard code 39 barcode.  One of the clients wants me to use a EAN13 barcode but I can't get this to work.  Do we need to purchase a Java class from the barcode vendor to get this type of barcode to work?  I was thinking that maybe the code 39 works because you can code that in JDE reports so they might have the BI Publisher java class built in.
