Does Copy order/lines function calls Defaulting Rules? 11.5.10.2

Hi

Here is the scenario:  Defulting Rules defined (Order Line) to derive Request Date

IE.  Derive Request Date at order line based on Header level Request Date

If copying an existing order; would the Defaulting Rule be call in order to derive the Request Date or does copy simply takes the Request Date in the original order line and simply copy that date?
