Company Profile Questions

I was hoping someone might be able to explain a few settings in the Company Profile for me. In layman terms, can you explain the functions of the following: Head-up Display (right now it is off for my company), Enable Shared Address, Validate Shared Addresses, Role-Based Can Read All Records, and Auto Wrap Up
I have an idea on some of these such as Role-Based Can Read All Records but just need a little more than what the Help option has to offer.
