Explanation of the Shipment Confirmation (P4205) processing option: Enter a '1' to edit returns of l

This processing option was first included in World release A8.1.

If that processing option is set to a 1, and you are ship confirming a credit line for a lot controlled item, the program checks the Location Master file (F4108) to see if that location has field STAG (staging location) set to a Y. If it is not set to a Y, the program issues error 053Q: Invalid Staging Location.The item that was entered for return is lot controlled and cannot be returned to a final putaway location. This is to avoid any potential hazards of mixing the returned lot that may not be eligible for direct put away.
