Unable to start the siebel services for the first time

  Installed Siebel version is 8.1.1.0 on Oracle Inux 5 server 
I finished installation of siebel server adn sweapp but how ever I am unable to start the siebel services .

I am able to start gtwy server 
I am able to connect using odbcsql
I am able to connect using Sqlplus
I am able to start the siebsrvr without any errors in the log
but when I try to check if the services are started by using ps -ef| grep sieb the services donot show up.Please suggest
