Javscript or Java Webform

Dear All

We have to take a business decision of  developing and and linking an external application with CRMoD.

Either we can develop the application in javascript and embed it in CRM or user clicks the application which opens a java webform.

Issue with using Javscript is the configuration gets changed everytime with CRM Refresh.
