Special Information Type in Oracle Self Service

We are on 11.5.10.2.

I am facing one issue while adding one Special Information Type in Oracle Employee Self Service Page. In self service personalization under 

Flex: Key flex for Sit > Segment List I m using segment list as

SIT Context Name|segment1|segment2 - it is working fine where segment separator is Period (.).

In one SIT Segment Separator is used as Pipe (|), so when I try to add this in Self Service, this SIT doesn't appear. Please suggest if I have to use another command in segment list.
