launching the contact search box to do a 'contains any' search

Hi,

when my users launch the contact or account searches from within a form (i.e they are creating an activity and adding a contact)  the default of the qualifiers is 'equal to' which presents a problem as most of the time they want to do a 'contains any' search.

Is there a way to set the default so that the window opens with the 'contains any defaulted?
