Difference between Asset Disposal Responsiblity report and asset retirement report?

Hi,

 

Can someone explain me the difference between Asset Disposals Responsibility report and Asset Retirement Report?? I see in user documents that asset disposal report says"This report shows assets that you removed from your cost centers through retirements and transfers" and asset retirement says "Use this report to review the assets you retired for the Book and accounting Period range you choose"... but I have an asset which was retired recently and showing in both reports.. my concern is "My asset is not transferred from one CC to another then why its showing in Disposals report?" and what exactly it differs from
