Customizing IBR

Is it possible to customize IBR part of the product ?

I explain what I need :

For some type of documents, I want to send them to IBR by a batch every night. Is it possible.

These type of documents are modified several times on their creation date and I don't want to create a pdf at each modification. I want to send only the final document to IBR.

Is there any solution for that ?
