PO tolerances for amount and Quantity

Hi,

I have setup tolerance for amount and quantity as 10% and is working fine if changes are made with 10% tolerance.

However, i have a scenario wherein it is failing. Scenario is as:

Line 1: Quantity - 1Each , Price - 25 Dollars, Total Amount - 25 Dollars --> Already existing line on PO 

Now I have added new line with quantity as 1 EACH and price as 1 Dollar.

Now the total amount calculated (already existing line plus new added line) - Dollars 26.

Since the change in the total amount is within 10%, will tolerances are expected to work or PO will be sent for approval again.

Is this intended functionality that when new line will be created tolerances will not work, it has to go for approval process again.
