OTL: Timecards Were Stuck And Blocked Alll Applications

Hi
This month everybody had to enter 3 or 4 time cards and the application become a chaos  because when users tried to enter cards the application got stuck and blocked  all applications.

Think the problem comes  from JVM. Found note 362851.1that outline about setup JVM for every two cores can have one JVM.

Servers for DB and APPS have 5 and 4 quad cores respectively. Just now in Jserv.conf have setup two. Could grow up the number?.

Any idea to get better performance for that application?.
