Restoring a 50 Mb datafile takes 6 hours...

Hi Gurus,
IHAC who is restoring a big database. As a test, he tried to restore only 1 small datafile. Unfortunately it tooks 6 hours.
Oracle 11.2.0.3 with ASM on Red Hat 
In order to improve this bad performance... we are looking for advice.

I am wodering if a restore of a single datafile (user01.dbf 50 Mb) take advantage of any parallelism?
Please help.
