Is there any Column Selector facility(similar to OBIEE) in BI Publisher?

Hello All,

              We have a BI Publisher integrated with OBIEE. We are on 11.1.1.6.2 BP1. In OBIEE we have many reports which have Column Selector i.e. based on value of master column data in report changes. 

              Now we are creating BI Publisher reports based on existing OBIEE analysis. We are wondering if column selector facility also exist in  BI Publisher ?

              There is a nice workaround which is explained here https://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/entry/dynamic_grouping_and_columns but before going ahead with this I wanted to check if  any automatic facility exist in BI Publisher.
