OTL: Need Help with Timecards Query

Hi All,

We have the following OTL (TIme and Labor) query for reporting the Emp/CW  timecard hours for a given From/To date range.

Our DBA tried to tune it using Toad's query optimizer utility but I think some table joins itself might need to be corrected.  I would greatly appreciate if some one can help me correct the joins and/or simplify the query to improve its performance.  This query is called as a Oracle Discoverer  Report

Our EBS version is R12.1.3  and Timecard layout has with Project/Task fields

SELECT PPF2.last_name last_name,    
               PPF2.first_name,
