change of Indentifying address

Hi,

I need to change the Indentifying addrress of a customer after account merge:

Below is the scenario :

Customer :  ABC.

Account # 1 : Dublin (Indentifying address)

Account # 2:  Boston

Account merge done succesfully. ( From Account: Dublin --> To Account : Boston)

All the Transactions with Dublin account were changed to Boston account. But the Indentifying address is still 'Dublin'.  Now how to change the indentifying address and what is the standard functionality.

Inputs are appreciated.
