Does JD Edwards offer any programs or special processing for doing business in a foreign country?

Yes, this is referred to as either Localizations or Globalizations and there are adjustmens to existing programs or brand new programs to accomodate specific requirements from various foreign countries. Not all countries are supported by JD Edwards software so please refer to the document JD Edwards World Globalizations (Doc ID Note 745085.1) for the specific countries supported. To name a few, there is Brazil and Argentina, Italy and Spain and even Russia. Another document which could be helpful is JDE World Localization Announcements (Doc ID Note 878629.1) and this is a listing of each adjustment made to existing Country specific functionality, listed by Country including the appropriate software updates.
