Supervisor (ANPA) cleared when employee termination processed in 9.0.

I have noticed that the Supervisor field is being cleared upon processing a termination.  Something seems to have changed since January of this year and I can not find out what has caused the issue.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Our Managers use the Managers Workbench to drill down to see both active and former employees that were reporting to a subordinate.  No terms since January are showing in the P08712.
