Creating Trial Balance with Debits and Credits using Reporting Studio in HFM

I am trying to develop an accounting Trial Balance report in which accounts with debit balances are in one column and credit balances are in the other column. How would this be done? I am assuming it would have something to do with account type but how? And what would happend to accounts that have an opposite value for the account type? I am looking for some specific examples that would guide me in the development of the report. This is in HFM in version 11.1.2.1 and Reporting Studio 11.1.2.507
