Sales Quote Order Value shows blank

Hi,
Can anyone help me on this.

I am creating a Sales Quote SQ order. I add a line and enter the unit price and the extended price. No Advance pricing. I save the order.

When I open the inquiry form and go to the header browser I see the order value to be blank, where in the detail it shows the value. Now when I change the processing option of P4210|ZJDE003, commitment tab to blank same as for Sales Orders i can see the value on the order field in the header browser. Can anyone explain me why is the system behaving like this.
