11i : Options to reduce patching downtime in PRODUCTION if there are multiple Web and Forms Nodes

Hi

We are planning to apply some 50+ patches in PRODUCTION. So, can you please suggest some options to reduce the patching downtime if there are multiple Web & Forms Nodes as below.

Here is the configuration of our PRODUCTION Environment:

1 : DB Node
2: Concurrent & Admin Node along with Discoverer
3  Web & Forms Node
4  Web & Forms Node
5  Web & Forms Node
6  Web & Forms Node
7  Web & Forms Node
6  Web & Forms Node

For your information, we are also using the oracle recommended options to minimize the patching downtime along with autopatch as below:

1. Merging Patches
2. Creating Defaults File
3. Deferring the upolad of patch information to database
4. Deferring the option of not compiling invalids and jsps.
