using 2nd deployment server during upgrade 9.1

Hi All,

I installed the 9.1 enterprise and deployment server 9.1 on new servers. now i want to run the installation plan for upgrade 8.12 to 9.1 but how to connect old depserver 8.12 to retrive the information during installation plan. i created ODBC connection for old dep server, do i need to create ODBC for old database server sql 2008? during installation plan it is asking enter the previous system data source name but it is not available in existing list.

i did the full mirroring from PD to PY environment (business data and control tables and central objects) on old servers, now can i copy py business data and control tables to new database server then run the installation plan?
