Generating the Revenue Events

Hi Team,
I am having the below requirements.

1. For a kind of orders, we will be having a project related to that sales order(Ship only sales order).
2. Once the order lines are shipped, we want to recognize the revenue for the project associated to that Sales Order.

Now my question is Which  API in Oracle Projects will allow us to create the revenue events of type 'Automatic'?. Which  API pa_event_pub.Create_event or  PA_BILLING_PUB.insert_event?
