Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. performance between single and multiple tablespaces

Hi Gurus!

I have a performance questions:

Company applications have 128 TBS and 145 files

What are the advantages of having many TBS?

Having a few TBS makes easier the administration. for example DATA_TBS,INDEX_TBS,IDX_PART_TBS,TBL_PART_TBS
