Scrapping of items/ spares of maintenance related work

hi

what is a standard process in JDE to scrap the maintenance spares (Inventory & CAM Module). Is there any standard process available where we can put up a request / decision to scrap particular spares. Then in a next step the decision goes for approval based on the item cost.
