Applying Post MP section before maintenance pack(MP)

Hi,


We are upgrading Oracle apps from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2 version.

We have successfully completed the pre upgrade tasks. Our Next step is to apply maintenance pack(MP). But we must apply the post install tasks for MP to bring up the application and do the testing and it may take more days to complete which we cant as we will not be getting more days of production down time. So we are planning to apply some of the post MP patches which are not related to MP ( means patches which are not having MP as a prerequisite).

Please let us know if it is possible to apply patches which are not depend on MP (as a prerequisite) before applying Maintenance pack?
