Shrinking Quota's

I've got an issue where I have to move data from iSCSI over to FC. The problem is that we need an extra space for a lun in the mean time. I've got enough free space on the Appliance however I'm not sure I can use it cause all the space is taken up by quotas. My question is what happens if I shrink the quota and reservation to be able to create another lun for display as a FC lun, rather then NFS.
