12.1.3 Upgrade : Q - Can I install 12.1.1 software and apply the 12.1.3 patch without having to appl

Welcome to the new EBS Patching community.
This thread will address your following question

I have an 11.5.10.2 instance, I install the r12.1.1 software and upgrade the database to 11.1.0.7, I ran the driver file in $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver to upgrade to 12.1.1. I have downloaded the maintenance pack for 12.1.3 and would like to know if

1) I have to apply the 12.1.1 driver then the 12.1.3 patch

or

2) Can I just apply the 12.1.3 patch without applying the driver for 12.1.1
