Opportunity associated with contacts

Hi
Is it possible to get the # opportunities associated with a contact.
The catch is the contact is a secondary contact to an opportunity and not always the primary contact.

All the subject area which I had looked intno allows to write report against Primary contact and not secondary contacts.
Will negative reporting help ?
