Serial Number on Contracts

Hi,

I am running into the issue where I am not able to enter a serial number on a contract when the serial number is owned by another related party in installed base.

I noticed that patch 7380366 is available for 12.0.6 and sounds related to the issue I am having. I am on 12.1.3 - Is this patch sitll applicable?

Example:

Party ABC is related to Party DEF

SN 123 is owned by party ABC

Want to create a contract for Party DEF for SN 123.
