Should a new ledger be created in China for each entity

We are currently running Oracle EBS 12.1.3 & have a legal entity and ledger setup in China for an existing business. We have just acquired a new legal entity in China that needs to be set up in Oracle.  I am wondering if it is typical in a China implementation to create new ledgers for each company for certain legal or reporting reasons or if I can just set up this new entity under the same ledger as our existing company.  The chart of accounts, accounting calendar and primary currency are the same for both of these entities..  We currently only make use of the
