Closed PO status with Partially Cancelled PO Quantity - cannot create payment for delivered quantity

Hi,

Requesting assistance from the community on how to resolve this issue.  This PO is approved with original qty of 10 for the item.  Delivered quantity is only 8, the balance quantity of 2 will not anymore be delivered. Without having payment of the initial delivery, the buyer has cancelled the balance quantity which made the PO status to closed.  Our problem now is.. we cannot create invoice for the quantity 8 delivered.  What action to take in order to pay this quantity? 

Please kindly help on how to resolve this issue.  Thank you.
