PAGE SEQUENCING ON XML REPORTS (DAILY JOURNAL REPORT)

I need to change the page numbering sequencing on our custom version of this report, so that it starts at 1. If the report is run for one period the following currently happens:

1. The first page is left completely blank

2. The page sequencing for the next page starts at 2.

I would like to get rid of the blank page & start the page sequencing at 1.

Also, if run for multiple periods, I would like there to be no blank pages and each period would start with page number 1
