Support position for use of Open-Source Office Products with Desktop Integrator and Report Manager

Hi

Does anyone know whether Open-Source Office products are supported for the use within the Desktop Integrator and Report Manager modules?

The Client I am working at is currently on R11.5.10.2, and I need to ascertain whether it is feasible for them to use Open-source Office products instead of Microsoft office.

If anyone has had any experience of this or is aware of whether or not it is supported, I would appreciated hearing from you.
