Separation of Duties and Responsbilities of GoldenGate Admin and Database Admin

 Hi,

We are in a situation where we have to give the responsibilities to manage the OracleGolden Gate to a Non-DBA group and looking for a ways to achieve it.  Currently both GoldenGate and database are residing on the same server and oracle GoldenGate account is in OS  dba group and we would like to revoke the dba os group from GoldenGate account and then have the account manage the GoldenGate only such as Start/stop and configuring the extracts and replicats and not to execute a 'sqlplus "/ as sysdba"' to gain privileges.  Please let me know if that works and I have come
