workaround to add inactive users as opportunity team members instead of active ones

Gurus,
I have about 200 sales people in crm on demand  of which only about 50 of them login and enter their opportunities. the rest of them are added as opportunity team members but never login to crm.

 My question is there any workaround which will make these 150 users inactive in crm but still get credit for the opportunities they have worked on.

These will prevent the administrators  from sending login reminders to these users who do not use crm od on a regular basis.

Any suggestions.
