Clustering the Database - Possible Automation?

I am working in Hyperion Planning - System 9.  Each night, we do what we call a "Clustering".  It is probably not the same as the tandard clustering.  What we do is each night we go into one of our dimensions and add a dummy entry.  We then go and refresh our database.  The reason we do this is so that our system begins to slow if we don't do it every day and Business rules take longer to run. 

My question is is there any way to automate this so that the Database refreshes every evening?  Is there a way to do this without creating a dummy account.  Any help or suggestions you can give me would be great.
