Task Detail Screen - Adding Contact Location

I'm trying to have the contact address (number/street, city, state) show in the task detail screen. I tried pulling Address, City, State, and Location from the available fields section in the task page layout. Address pulls the account location while city and state are uneditable and remain blank. Location is a simple free text field that doesn't do me any good. I need the contact address fields to automatically populate in the task detail screen. Do I need to create new fields and use expressions like [<AlternateAddress1>], [<AlternateCity>], and [<AlternateStateProvince>]?
