Calculating Late Charges on Overdue Transactions

Hi,

        We are trying to Import Invoices from Legacy system in to Oracle Receivables as on 01-Jul-2012. Some of the invoices are already due before 01-Jul-2012 and the legacy system has calculated late charges already. We are bringing in invoices with total amount including the late charges.

       How do we ensure that oracle starts calculating Late Charges for such invoices starting from 01-Jul-2012 even if the due date is before that? We tried to put the "Charge Calculation Date" in Late Charges section of Customer Profile Options as "01-JUL-2012". But it did not help as the invoices with due date before 01-JUL-2012 were not getting picked up by Generate Late Charges Program.
