Siebel Multilingual Installation

Hi everyone.
I have a couple of questions regarding multilingual Siebel Server installation:

1. As part of Siebel Server multilingual installation, the following is mentioned in Bookshelf:

"Running the MLOV (multilingual LOV) conversion utility. Perform this task once after installing
multiple languages and again after adding one or more languages"

In case that we do not intend to have MLOV setup, we could omit this step, right?

2. In case we do want MLOV setup:

Bookshelf says:
"To convert your current data for an MLOV In Siebel Tools
Delete all indexes that reference the columns you must convert.
You will recreate these indexes after you finish the MLOV conversion."
