Use of functions in Advance Pricing Formulae

Dear Folks

Has anybody used the functions in the advanced pricing formulae. I am trying to create a formula which would claculate the minimum value from a group of variables. In the example below I am getting syntax error when I try to save the formula

 $MIN(&BF-I|&BF-II)*@UP-200

&BF-I and &BF-II are two variables tables. I want to select the minimum from these two. But system gives me error.
