Setting product attributes in configurator using pricing workflow

Hello everyone!
There was a post here about SetXA like function, and the answer was that it is not available out of the box. I need to set some product attributes during configuration using a pricing workflow (I know it can violate constraints and pass through configurator script events, but it is ok). I thought if I manipulate property set and set XA properties (Value and LICValue) they will be synchronized and I can see them refreshed in configurator UI, but it doesn't happen. Is it event possible to synchronize XA attributes with SyncRowSet method of a Context Service that is invoked
