Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

Can I create a database called 'SQPROD' in ASM and have 2 database instances (NON RAC) access the same database (SQPROD)?

The database instances are for 2 different applications requiring the same database 'SQPROD'.
