Successfully configured OAM R12, EBS 12.1.3 and OVD 10g without OID

Hi All

I have read numerous posts and articles that you need OID with EBS to implement SSO.

I have read this Steven Chang's bog as well :

And I agree that if we are use all the features of EBS-OID then ofcourse we can't do witout OID.

From the blog above I gather this :

we need OID becuase :

1. Users are provisioned from OID to EBS

2. Users are provisioned from EBS to OID

3. Autolinking needs to be used.

Now suppose we need none of these features but oly use SSO part of functionality.
