R09110Z using ## for Doc Type, still errors with PBCO

We are processing four historical years of Journal Entries to a user defined ledger in JDE for many companies, and we do not want to have to set the periods/years back in company constants to process the JE's.  So we used the document type ## that allows JE's to be entered/posted to prior years without touching company constants.  However, for those JE's that are not in a prior year, but in a prior period, the R09110Z is producing a PBCO error and will not process them into F0911's.  The ## doc type isn't working in this scenario.  Is there a
