Seting a menu item to prompt for versions in 9.0

Hi Everybody

Does anyone know the steps required to set a batch report to prompt for versions instead of opening the attached version directly. The version list has 7 company specific versions which have to be chosen as required and the menu item currently opens the first one when selected .
