Iprocurement - Smart Forms

 Hello

I created smart form in the vision database

but in fact I do not really see the added value of this..

I can order items not in my catalogs ok;

but what happens further in the flow with this?

eg if I create a smart form with a default category lets say PENCILS
 and I only put in an item description like I want an pencil; blue color

and i create a requisition from it ..

what is the relevance of the category ; is this something for the buyer or ?
