Patch 11666797:R12.XLA.B is Available for Linux 32, Can it be Ported to Linux 64?

we need to apply Patch 11666797: BALANCES LOCKING ISSUE DURING ONLINE ACCOUNTING in Linux x64 but the patch its only available for platform linux x86

Questions
1.- Exists the patch for platform x64?
2.-There will be a problem in applying the patch for the platform x86 in enviroment x64?
