What's the procedure to shrink the FND_LOG_MESSAGES table?

My FND_LOG_MESSAGES table has 68Gig allocated to it while I am only using 8Gig.  I would like to reclaim the unused space.  I know EBus support frowns on messing with their tables so I am wondering what is the best techique to 'rebuild' this table?
