HI Experts,

Ours is a 11.5.10.2 apps database on OEL 5.7 64bit version.

   RAM is 32gb.

In Top command it is showing used is almost 32gb and free is only 200m at any time.

But in HTOP it is showing Used is 5 gb out of 32gb RAM.

         [oraprod@indudb ~]$ free -m
total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
  Mem:         32216      31372        843          0       1184      24720
-/+ buffers/cache:       5467      26748
Swap:        31996          0      31996

Recently in SR they said that from our free -m command used is 5gb n remaining is free.

I am very confused.  can anyone plz Explain me cleary?

why TOP and HTOP showing different values?

which outpu is correct?

Please help.
